Share Your Lung Story
The Lung Association of Saskatchewan 100th Anniversary Logo

From the Saskatchewan Anti-tuberculosis League to The Lung Association of Saskatchewan, this Organisation has touched over a million people in the province in the past 100 years. We would like you to share your lung story with us and with your neighbours.

If you have a story about:

  • Fort San, the Saskatoon San or the P.A. San
  • having a chest x-ray in a TB van when it visited your community
  • the ACT Amateur Hour shows to raise money to fight TB
  • Christmas Seals
  • Asthma Camp or asthma in general
  • COPD (chronic bronchitis and emphysema)
  • sleep apnea
  • lung cancer
  • lung transplantation
  • Lung Association support groups
  • fighting for clean air and smoke-free spaces
  • Lung Association schools visits
  • or any other lung-related story

Please take a few minutes to put your story together and tell it to us. The best way is to send us a video of you telling the story so that we can post it on our YouTube channel. Most digital cameras can take a video of suitable quality. Even if your story is only a few sentences long, that’s fine, please record it. If you have a longer story, please try to keep it less than five minutes. We know it’s hard to make a lung story short, but we might have to edit longer stories.

We will also accept written stories by mail or e-mail which we might have a narrator read in order to post them on our YouTube channel.

You can also phone us at 306-343-9511 (Saskatoon) and record your story on our voice mail.

When you submit your story, be sure to give your name, address and telephone number or e-mail address; and include the statement: “I give permission to the Lung Association of Saskatchewan to use my story as it chooses.” If you do not want your full name to be used please indicate how you would like to be identified - for example, “Donna from Melfort”.
