New National Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) Guide Now Available

The Lung Association is pleased to announce the launching of a guide for people living with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF).

IPF is a long-term disease where the cause is unknown (idiopathic) and the lungs (pulmonary) become scarred (fibrosis). The guide provides information on what IPF is, how it is diagnosed and managed. It is also a practical tool for persons and their families to discuss coping strategies, lung transplantation and advanced care planning. This resource is available for free download.

A special thank you to The Breathe Ambassadors who are featured in this guide and who courageously shared their journeys with us.

For health care professionals: COMING SOON! An on-line RESPTREC® IPF continuing education course.
