The Lung Association, Saskatchewan is pleased to introduce the Inspired Breathing Conference 2019 that will be held in Saskatoon at the Saskatoon Inn on May 24 & 25, 2019.
This inaugural conference will bring together patient voices, family physicians, respiratory specialists, allied respiratory health care professionals, and respiratory educators to learn together and to network with one another. This conference offers content that is diverse, current, and of value to all delegates. With its mix of plenary sessions, keynote speakers and participative workshops presented by experts and key opinion leaders in their respective fields of specialty, this professional education conference includes something for everyone.

SESSION A - Ballroom A - Spirometry Interpretation Workshop - Dr. Brian Graham & Dr. Jordan Olfert (limited to 30 registrants)
Workshop Objectives: At the completion of this workshop, attendees will be able to describe the role of spirometry as an objective measurement of lung disease; describe spirometry testing, terms and measurements; describe the criteria for test acceptability and repeatability; and gain confidence in the interpretation of spirometry.
SESSION B - Courtyard Room - Disordered Breathing Management & Airway Secretion Clearance Techniques Workshop - Ms. Donna Turner and Ms. Jessica DeMars (limited to 50 registrants)
Workshop Objectives: At the completion of this workshop, attendees will have learned management strategies and enhanced skills to optimize care for their patients with disordered breathing and those requiring airway secretion.

SESSION D - Brass Lantern Room - Parents & Caregivers of Children with Asthma Forum - Ms. Liz Ochitwa & Ms. Crystal Spehar
This forum will provide information and an opportunity to ask questions about caring for children with asthma. It will be facilitated by Certified Respiratory Educators who are leaders in the field of pediatric respiratory care.
